Palm Beach International Film Festival. PBIFF was founded in 1996 by Commissioner Burt Aaronson and local philanthropist George Elmore with the vision that a film festival would offer an exciting cultural venue for the community and be a tremendous fundraiser for educational film and television programs throughout Palm Beach County schools.
Proceeds from the festival are given to the Palm Beach County schools' film and television programs to provide new technologies for optimal learning in the forms of grants and scholarships. In addition to the funds for youth in the community, bringing the art of filmmaking to Palm Beach County is another goal.
Swede fest™ palm beach 6 is currently sponsored by the Palm Beach Film Society and Alchemy Communications in cultural partnership with the Palm Beach County Film and Television Commission. ### Media Contact: Elizabeth Dashiell palmbeachpr@yahoo.com 561-543-8276
